Dry-Contact I/O

GPIO Node

The GPIO Node connects the physical world to your show — buttons, magnetic door sensors, reed switches and limit switches — the bridge between what a guest does and what the show does next.

What it's for

Most immersive moments start with a physical action: a button pressed, a book pulled, a door opened. The GPIO Node reads those dry-contact inputs cleanly and reliably, with hardware debounce so a single press is a single event, and feeds them straight into your logic. Eight channels per node, and you add nodes as your room fills with triggers.

Key features
  • 8 clean dry-contact input channels
  • Hardware debounce for reliable single events
  • Optional open-drain output per channel
  • High sampling rate for responsive triggers
  • Field-wireable terminals with bused ground
  • IP65 sealed, networked, field-updatable
In the room

The book that opens the wall

A guest pulls the right book on a shelf; a hidden reed switch closes; the GPIO Node reports a clean single event to the Core; the Runtime fires the sequence that unlocks the next room. No double-triggers, no missed pulls — the debounce makes sure one action is one event.
