Mixed Sensing

Sensor Node

The Sensor Node reads the room — motion, proximity, position, environment — across mixed analog and digital inputs, turning the physical space into show triggers.

What it's for

Beyond buttons, immersive spaces sense presence and state: someone enters a zone, a prop reaches a position, a condition changes. The Sensor Node handles a mix of analog and digital sensors and reports both discrete events (entered, exited, fired) and continuous values to your logic, with configurable debounce and noise rejection so the room reacts to real events, not electrical noise.

Key features
  • 8 mixed analog / digital sensor channels
  • Discrete events (fired, entered, exited) and continuous values
  • Configurable debounce and noise rejection
  • Selectable excitation for common sensor types
  • IP65 sealed, networked, field-updatable
  • Per-channel configuration
In the room

The room that knows where you are

A dark-ride scene stays dormant until a Sensor Node detects the vehicle entering the zone; an effect fires, then resets as the vehicle exits. Continuous value readings let the show ramp an effect with proximity rather than just switching it on — subtlety the experience designer can dial in.
