From boxes to a running show.
What arrives, what you need on site, and the path to a running attraction. Installation is well-trodden, not a science project.
Four things, before the first node powers on.
A private wired Ethernet network
A switch and cabling for the show, separate from venue IT.
Power for the Core and nodes
Mains for the Core; low-voltage DC for the nodes, except mains-powered devices.
A Windows PC for IMMERSE Studio
For design and publishing your show to the Core.
A display for the operator console
A touch screen is ideal for the Operator Control Console.
Five steps to a working attraction.
- 01
Mount and power the Core; connect it to the show network.
- 02
Install the nodes where they're needed; wire their inputs/outputs to your props, locks, fixtures and sensors.
- 03
Patch every device in Studio and confirm each one comes online and reports healthy.
- 04
Build (or load) your show logic; design the operator panels; record lighting scenes.
- 05
Publish to the Core, test end to end, and hand the operator console to your staff.
Mains-powered devices — the Core and the Relay Node — must be installed by a qualified person in accordance with the documentation and local electrical code. The platform is designed to fail safe, but safe installation is a shared responsibility.
Getting-started guides, per-device documentation and wiring references live in Support & Documentation, and the Studio reports (device list, wiring summary) give your install team a port-by-port map to work from.
